The PeekScores of the 2011-2012 NFL Playoffs’ Head Coaches

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news.

The holiday season has come and gone and a new year is underway, which means – to a terrifically large number of Americans – that another precious season is upon us; the NFL playoffs. With the wild card games now behind, eight teams remain hoping to find themselves as one of the two who will be in Indianapolis on February 5, for Super Bowl XLVI.

With this entry we’ve decided to pay tribute to all twelve of the noble field generals who have been leading, weekend after weekend, these estimable battle torn ensembles into the arena of graceful combat, and now have marched their loyal men triumphantly into the post-season (to employ a bit of wretchedly purple prose, in the style of those amazing 70s NFL highlight films). Or, in simpler terms, we’re taking a look at the digital footprints of the twelve playoff teams’ head coaches.

A couple of these gentlemen have Twitter accounts, some have personal websites, but for the most part this group unsurprisingly steers clear of social media. Right now especially, however, given the playoff heat on their teams, each finds their name repeatedly mentioned in the ether and throughout the news media and blogosphere. All PeekScores are present and healthy.

Do any of these results surprise you? Who are you rooting for and/or against in the playoffs? Let us know in the comments.
