The Celtics Sweep the Knicks in the 2011 NBA Playoffs

The Boston Celtics, it would seem, have swept the New York Knicks out of the NBA playoffs. In honor of their achievement as a team, we’ve decided to digitally disrupt their apparent camaraderie, pit them against one another in this cutthroat arena we call the World Wide Web, and rank them based upon their PeekScores. Do not construe this list as a show of bias toward Boston, nor conversely as a cheap excuse for us to possibly have a go at that fine city. We are a New York company, true, but there are also New Englanders in our midst. As a result of this, as well as our general desire to always keep our appeal broad (as we are, as should by now be known, very much about kindness and benevolence), it behooves us – here, as in all of our dealings – to exercise diplomacy and impartiality. Let it be known that no small (practically meaningless, in the grand scheme) indignity could keep us from loving our extraordinary hometown and all it has to offer; including its many world-class, professional sports franchises. On the other hand, we think it’s just peachy that a smaller, some might even say lesser, town can beat us at what is, at the end of the day, essentially a kid’s game. In fact, we hope they’re happy with their Celtics, their Citgo sign, their admittedly superior chowder, and (presumably) beans. We’ll just have to make do with having, well, everything else, I guess.

Even though Shaq hasn’t played in a while, he still dominates our list. What a champ.
