What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. Not too terribly long ago we here at the PeekScore blog took a look at the online impacts of the world’s wealthiest models; those victors of the genetic lottery, of whom the camera is (and advertisers are) so enamored, who in addition to their looks-wise luck, and abilities to pose and be well groomed, demonstrated significant enough smarts and business acumen to have accumulated over the course their careers substantial fortunes. That was the world of the comely of face and hip in macro, today we’re looking at the well-rewarded – in most conventionally accepted, superficial senses (i.e., looks and money) – on the smaller scale; those who were best paid for their efforts, and abilities to wear outfits well, over the past year.

As we always stress with each of these entries, this is not a comparison of any aspect of the lives of these individuals apart from their respective presences, prominences, and impacts here in cybserpace; their “digital footprints,” if you will (an explanation of which can be found above, or more in depth by clicking through here).
