The Digital Footprints of Fox News’ Top Personalities

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news.

In honor of the 15th anniversary of the often controversial, always immensely popular Fox News Channel, we here at the PeekScore blog thought it would be fun to put the channel’s current crop of on-air personalities to the PeekScore test (we threw in a couple of the bigger names from Fox Business Network for good measure, as well). We know they’re hotshots on cable, but how about here on the Internet?

Well, wherever you may fall in terms of your opinion of the way they report and/or opine on the news, or the degree to which they are – as they declare – “fair and balanced,” there’s no refuting that this is a bunch who have made their mark here in cyberspace. Employing websites, social media, and FOX’s own internet channels, this is a rather digitally impactful group, all in all.

Would you like to see us do a list of this nature for the anchors and personalities from CNN, or MSNBC, or from some other channel? Is there a Fox News personality we overlooked who you’d like to see included? Let us know in the comments.
