What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. While some will have a laugh at what they perceive as the self-importance and/or half-informed pomposity of the below thespians, pop singers, and broadcasters, the fact is that each of these men and women at least tries to take the unusually bright lights shone upon them by society to illuminate what they believe to be some of the planet’s more pressing concerns. These are ten of the superstars best known for their charitable and/or humanitarian endeavors.
While frequently with these PeekScore lists we present them as a contest, or at least a comparison, of the various names involved, with this list – as such gamesmanship seems out of keeping with the altruism theme – we instead propose this is simply a look at the digital footprints of each of these folks individually, and conveniently presented together. Ain’t that big of us?
