The PeekScores of the Hosts of Saturday Night Live’s 38th Season

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. For first time visitors a more in-depth explanation of what the PeekScore is, and how to increase your own, can be found by clicking through here.

On May 18th NBC’s Saturday Night Live will wrap its 38th season. Now that all of the remaining episodes’ guests have been booked and announced, we decided it would be fun to put all of this season’s hosts to the PeekScore test and compare their digital footprints (a concept explained in brief in this entry’s header, and more in depth here).

Our first place finisher will surprise few, if any, who are at all acquainted with this thing we call the internet. The enormously popular SNL host who is the runner up on our list isn’t bound to raise many eyebrows for his lofty spot either. But after that, there are some surprises to be found. Check it out.

Which James Bond has the Largest Digital Footprint?

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. Many of us have a favorite James Bond film, and perhaps even more of us have a favorite James Bond (of the six actors to play the role in Cubby Broccoli‘s ongoing series of films; the latest installment of which – Skyfall – will be released very, very soon.).

Rather than enter into a pointless and heated debate of who or which was best and why, we decided to let the mathematics of our PeekScore scale do the deep figuring for us. It’s not our place to comment on the snazziness of the respective Bondses’ sportscars and tuxes, nor would we opine on the handiness and/or cleverness of their assorted gadgets. It is our business, however, to see which Bond has the most pronounced presence here in cyberspace (or, if you prefer, the largest digital footprint, an explanation of which can be found above or more in-depth by clicking through here)

While we here at the PeekScore blog believe that everyone’s entitled to their opinion, we happen to accept the simple fact – as any reasonable human would – that Sean Connery’s Bond was best. Alas, while Sir Sean has a mightily impressive score, he was still beat out by our two most recent Bonds. The PeekScore is righteous and true, but it knows not from good (or at least best) Bond.

Who’s your favorite Bond? Which is your favorite flick? Let us know in the comments.
