The PeekScores of the Cast of Two and a Half Men

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news.

As many of us remember, no matter how soon we’d prefer to forget, back this past spring Two and a Half Men‘s former lead actor – one Charlie Sheen – waged a rather theatrical and public PR war against the series’ creator, Chuck Lorre. Every conceivable comment and/or joke which could have been made on that subject was made months ago, so we’ll just leave our recap at this and move on.

In the midst of all that hubbub, Mr. Sheen went from merely being a major TV star (and former movie star) to becoming something of a social networking titan, and a dominant presence throughout cyberspace and the blogosphere; despite the brouhaha also costing him his job. As coincidence would have it, the man eventually hired to replace Charlie was Ashton Kutcher, a well established and widely recognized social media giant in his own right.

While here at the PeekScore blog we sometimes aspire to loftier things, there’s no use pretending that this hunk of pop-culture trifle isn’t a showdown custom made for the likes of us. In this entry we have decided to pit the former lead from America’s highest rated sitcom against its current star, throwing in the rest of the cast for good measure, to see how they compare in the digital footprint department.

Both Charlie and Ashton are PeekScore champions, as it unsurprisingly turns out. While 10 is our greatest score, of course, there are slight gradations to the achievement and Ashton has narrowly edged out Charlie, with the remainder of the cast stacking up almost precisely in the order you’d expect.

So, what say you to all this silliness, PeekScore blog reader? Are the results here different than you might have expected? What did you think of the season premiere? Or, like some of us here at the blog, did you even forget it was on (or never even know in the first place)? Let us know what you think in the comments.
