The PeekScores of the NHL’s Top 10 Goal Scorers of the 2011-2012 Season

What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. For first time visitors a more in-depth explanation of what the PeekScore is, and how to increase your own, can be found by clicking through here.

Whether in the hinterlands of Canada or the mountains of Virginia (although vastly more so in the former), we all scream for ice hockey. The long, cold winter is not long behind us, which means the NHL playoff season – the race to partake of the questionable sounding act of drinking from Lord Stanley’s coveted cup – is upon us in earnest. In honor of the blood spilled, teeth lost, and many drunken renditions of Gary Glitter’s Rock and Roll, Part 2 bellowed out by the bleary eyed gathered in arenas throughout North America this year, here are the season’s top 10 goal scorers.

The actual “goals scored” stats of these fine gentlemen are all well and good, and are included here, but we’ll leave it to others to rank them based on those numbers, or to even consider their various accomplishments on the ice in any way. With this survey we’re comparing the sizes of their presences and impacts here in cyberspace, as we always do (a description of which can be found above or more in depth by clicking through here).
