2010 Senate Mid-Term Election Results with PeekScore

PeekYou has ranked candidates for the 2010 United States Senate Mid-Term Elections and compared PeekScore with Election Results. This list is not a ranking by ability, endorsements or popularity, but rather by the size of their digital footprint and online social presence; their PeekScore. The results below are using a new version of PeekScore which includes a decimal, for added granularity.

Based on the election results, PeekYou’s PeekScore correlated with 72% of the Senate Midterm Elections in 2010 (26 of the 36 Senate races listed below correlated with PeekScore).

In the event of a PeekScore tie, PeekYou was able to check each senator’s unique individual score on an absolute scale, and thus determine whether there was an accurate correlation between PeekScore and election result. This metric is used sitewide to rank people but is not shown.

*We are still awaiting the results of the Alaskan election to determine a winner but based on preliminary results according to CBS News, we believe Lisa Murkowski will win.
